About this Boat

OJIGWAN Specs

Ojigwan, is an extremely well-appointed 1996 Venezia 42 built by

Fountaine Pajot. This vessel is cruising ready, having just spent the

last season touring the Eastern US and Bahamas! She is turn/key with

all major systems recently upgraded, serviced or repaired! She is in

excellent condition and has been well maintained and loved by her

current family. She has been lived on full time by the current owner for

the past 6 years and the previous owner for the 4 prior. This boat has

never been in charter.!

The Venezia is one of the few catamarans that balances performance

with comfort. She is not a floating power condo, nor is she a stripped

out complex racer. She will sail well in medium to moderate breeze

and can be managed by a short-handed crew. With decent wind we

regularly saw speeds in the 9-12 knot range. She can handle the

heavy weather like a champ and hold kayaks, paddleboards, fishing

poles and all you and your cruising gear. This version has the

upgraded 39hp (2) Yanmar Saildrive engine package and will motor at

8.5-9 kts on those light air days. She has a 5.0 KW generator, reverse

cycle heat/AC as well as hot water and a 19 gallon per hour water

maker making her completely viable for long term long distance

cruising. The current owner has modified this to be the fastest Venezia

on the market with a bowsprit, optional Code 0 reaching sail, and new

high performance main and headsail with carbon fiber load path fibers

and a UV cover to protect the sails. With a 4 draft, you will find

yourself being able to tuck into some of the most scenic locations and

have them to yourself.!

Ojigwan is a 2 queen, 1 double cabin 2 head layout, with the 4th cabin

converted into a workshop and storage space. Inside the workshop is

where you will find about $5,000 worth of spare parts (engines,

generator and outboard) that will all be yours for when you take her

cruising on your own adventure. With a spare AC/DC freezer/fridge

you will have plenty of extra space for long term storage of frozen

food, which will save you tons of $$ in the islands!!

So turn those dreams of cruising into a reality with a fully operational

ready to sail home that has been loved and looked after by a devoted

family! Come see Ojigwan today.

Be sure to see the great video done by the owners!
