About this Boat
Custom Built Searunner 40 -- build start in 2000 by an Engineer in Half Moon Bay just a few miles from Searunner Designer, Jim Brown, who was an overseeing consultant throughout the build.
This blue water Trimaran was built for world cruising, however, the vessel has very low hours from only short voyages to SF Bay and Southern California. She has been berthed in Oceanside Harbor while Owner's wife has been forced to deal with her husband's sudden passing.
Currently she is undergoing a topsides and hull painting, and generally getting shipshape again. She is a minor project ready for a major adventure, and the right sailor will be happy getting her out where she belongs on a new chapter. She is ready to get moving.
Searunner 40's are known as one of the best cruising multi-hull designs ever built. Equipped with a centerboard, she sails well on all points. Her sail inventory is remarkable with 5 bags of custom made Pineapple Sails (most never even used yet) and she makes for a great cruiser / live aboard with good storage.
Makes for a great blue water adventure, or live-aboard, or charter vessel.
Seller is moving up to a larger sailing cat.
