About this Boat

This very well-equipped Gemini 105 MC is ready to sail the beautiful waters of the Pacific Northwest this spring season.

Ideal for a sailing family, cruising couple, or performance sailor, this Gemini 105 MC is in excellent condition. The furling 150% Genoa is complemented by a furling screacher headsail with adjustable bow track and backstay tension to maximize speed in light air and running down wind. Inside the boat, there is plenty of light and ventilation with a host of opening hatches, portlights, and cabin windows. Teak is used throughout the interior for practical as well as aesthetic purposes, resulting in functionality along with light weight. The master cabin is spacious and comfortable; the two aft cabins are perfect for family members and guests; and the salon table drops to create a terrific queen-size bed. There also is an amazing amount of storage space – far more than the new Marlow Hunter-built Gemini’s.

The well-equipped galley is perfect for weekend trips or extended cruising. The roomy refrigerator operates on electric power or propane; the stove and oven are easy to operate, and the double sink and counter tops make meal preparation and clean up easy. The amount of galley area storage space exceeds nearly any monohull or catamaran of comparable length.

Getting back to sailing: This is a fast, responsive and comfortable boat to sail in wind speeds of 6 to 26 knots. Twin retractable centerboards are easily managed and maximize performance based on relative wind and seas. Raising the drive leg reduces drag (and noise) and increases speed by half a knot. When the centerboards are raised to reduce draft to 18 inches, "Maria" can go where other sailboats dare not – enabling access to some of the most beautiful and quiet anchorages in the Northwest.

With a 14-foot beam, there is plenty of space for crew and guests outside with a roomy cockpit; a nylon loveseat over the transom, and lots of lounging space in the bow – including two pulpit seats.  The result is a safe, comfortable environment for those of all ages and levels of experience.

Without a doubt, this particular 2008 Gemini 105 MC is one of best values on the market today, with all new standing rigging in January 2019 and many other options, upgrades and accessories. Added features include a screecher furling headsail with adjustable track; adjustable genoa car system; Mack Pack sail storage and lazy jack system; electric anchor windlass with control from helm; foldable helm seat; Raymarine C-80 chartplotter with radar, Raymarine 6002 wheel autopilot, Raymarine ST60 wind and depth; Raymarine 750 AIS receiver, Imucs wireless NMEA navigation gateway; full canvas cockpit enclosure with Isinglass; Kato davits with hammock seat; upgraded Fusion stereo; Webasto hydronic heat; Weems and Plath ships clock and barometer set; composite propane tanks; galvanic isolator and much more.

Included with “Maria” is a West Marine 9' RIB and 2.5 Honda 4 stroke OB. Both are in good condition and perfectly suited for the Gemini’s size, balance and davits.

Also included with this catamaran are full sets of fenders, mooring lines, shore power cable, boat hook, flotation devices, safety and other equipment. This boat is fully ready to set sail with her new captain, so don't miss this great value, and one of the best coastal and inland cruising catamarans ever designed!
